Torque Moto, San Diego, CA

The local LGBT meetup groups advertised a comedy show staring Jennie McNulty and Sandra Valls. At first they were going to have Vickie Shaw who I knew from Dallas, TX Wednesday nights at Sue Ellens but there was a last minute change. Jennie is always nice and open, I’ve seen her before in LA a few years back and heard her on the radio many times. Sandra Valls was new to me but hilarious. I ordered a chicken and strawberry salad with jasmine tea and sat out on the gravel patio to watch the show during sunset. Everyone had a lovely time. Torque Moto is a small venue in North Park that looks like it was built inside a historic building. They serve teas, coffees, waffles, sandwiches and a small selection of other small bites such as hummus. Prices vary from $5-10, with nothing above $10.
