Farmer’s Market, San Diego, CA

The San Diego farmers market happens every sunday from 8am-12pm on University and Harvey Milk in Hillcrest.  After snagging some tomato jam for my Mothers birthday I stopped by the Turkish grill stand for a crispy spanakopita and dolmas salad combo.  This market has local olive oil, fresh bread, east african curries, indian samosas, multiple mediterranean and jewelry vendors.  There are several local farmers selling avacados, peaches, nectarines, and various berries.  It is a good way to try local cuisine, exotic and pick up some organic produce.

Date destination? Yes, this would be fun and a chance to talk about all kinds of different things.
