This little food truck stopped close to where I work in La Jolla. I’ve had a few lobster rolls in my time, because I love lobster claw and the toasty, buttery bun they use to cradle the seafood mixture. This was the first one that listed a Connecticut lobster roll, which is the same but with melted butter over the lobster instead of a mayo mixture. Since I was born in Connecticut I had to give this one a try. It was indeed very tasty and probably would have been delightfully paired with some tater tots, but alas I didn’t purchase the side dish. I wouldn’t mind trying some of their other tasty pairings if they stop by work again.
