Brio’s, Allen, TX

My family took me to Brio’s the night before returning home from Christmas break.  The restaurant is huge and is able to accommodate large parties in their back room.  It is Italian American food but I noticed they had plenty of gluten free and light options on their menu that was delicious.  I ordered their special of the day which was red snapper topped with crab, and a side of creamed spinach and kale.  It was awesome. Dad had the salmon with diced sweet potatoes and Mom had the cod on top of angel hair pasta.  The salmon had a light cedar taste that was very uplifting.  We ended the night with their molten lava chocolate cake with gelato and mascarpone cheesecake.  Everything was delicious and I liked the fact that an Italian restaurant had some great tasting light, gluten free fare.  I wouldn’t mind coming back here again.
