Stopped by here late at night to listen to their jazz, which I was told started at 6pm in the lounge. I’ve been to the Eddie V’s in Fort Worth, TX, many years ago and to this day have not forgotten their peppercorn seared filet mignon that had the taste of butter in each bite. Ended up ordering and sharing the lobster and shrimp bisque and their potstickers with a friend. Their potstickers tasted fresh, were seared on one side and covered in a red pepper soy based sauce. Their soup was infused with cognac and came out boiling. The presentation and tastes were lovely. I’ll come back here again and update you on how San Diego does their filet mignon. Overall a very lovely, romantic night.
