After a long day, we came by the Coho Café for dinner. Coho Cafe is tucked into a shopping mall area in Issaquah, WA on 161st ave. We both had the seafood bisque which had shrimp, crab and scallops in a creamy, yet cheesy sauce. The place had a nice stone fireplace in the back that made the atmosphere warm and inviting. I ended up with the Pit Roasted Salmon with Fried Caper Beurre Blanc, and it was delicious. The potatoes were obviously real, as the texture changed between bites. The sauce was a very light white wine and butter lemon sauce with capers. My friend’s seafood alfredo fettuccini was also good. He swore up and down that he would finish it, but alas, could not. Very filling, the alfredo came with an assortment of shrimp, scallops and crab in a creamy sauce, topped on a bed of fettuccini alfredo. Overall a very enjoyable evening. Most menu options vary from $5-25.
