Michoz’s Fresh Lebanese Grill, San Diego, CA

micoz 1 salad michoz

Found this place while driving through Hillcrest a week or so ago so I thought I might stop by to have some fresh Lebanese cooking.  Wonderfully spiced, this place is one of the best I’ve had in the area so far for light, mediterranean fare.  Their Kofta had plenty of spice, with something that I still can’t figure out but had a taste of donuts that I enjoyed.  It may have been cinnamon which is usually found in good kofta.  The meat had that authentic chargrilled taste that is expected in a good kabob.  Their taboulli salad had plenty of parlsey, radish and cucumber.  Nice and fresh light meal to have on a beautiful day out on the patio.  Loved how they cut the pickles into mini spears.  Prices vary from $5-15 from appetizers and entrees on average.
