Lava Sushi, San Diego, CA

lava sushi

Stopped by for some fried chicken rice.  The plate came out with the fried rice in the shape of an upside-down bowl, with a little shredded green onion on top.  The fried rice was delicious, plenty of pepper, fried egg, carrots and diced chicken.  The chicken was a combination of dark and white chicken.  Their potstickers are frozen, not made in store.  I love homemade potstickers and shumai.  The atmosphere was very fun, comfortable and modern.  The center table kept changing colors under the glass and the bar had nice stone on their counter.  Prices were around $8-20 per plate.
