This place is in a strip mall on 380 on the west side of 75. I ordered their Mediterranean Delight meal, which was supposed to come with kofta kabob, hummus, falafel, dolmas and pita bread. They ran out of kofta, so they substituted it for their spinach pie and baba ghanouj. First of all, if you run out of a meat, you don’t replace it with vegetables, that is not a good substitution. I asked for some meat, and he said he could give me some gyro which I accepted. Their falafel was delicious, but the gyro was rubbery and had a flavor of bologna. I eat a lot of Mediterranean food in the metroplex, and their spinach pie was very doughy with an uninteresting spinach filling. The dolmas was vegetarian and cold. The hummus, baba ghanouj, and mint tea were good however. The atmosphere was a hole in the wall diner that needed an update. Overall, not something I would go out of my way for, but I do have to say that the young man that served me was very nice and didn’t charge extra for the gyro substitution.
