We’ve been coming here for over twenty years. They used to be down the road in a strip mall but now have taken over an old Chili’s building next to 75 and Park. Always have fresh delicious seafood platters, my favorite being the Ponchartrain meal, which I have since made at home. A very satisfying meal with tilapia topped with shrimp, crabmeat and mushrooms. Delicious. Another dish I’ve since remade is their baked salmon with basil cream sauce, which is topped with plenty of garlic and a creamy basil sauce. We’ve had the crab fingers for years, drenched in butter and garlic, and comes with bread for dipping. Their crab stuffed mushrooms are juicy and flavorful as well. Their dinner salads come out on cold dishes, tasting fresh and chilled. I recommend their blue cheese dressing which is very rich and thick. The catfish is very good and what you’d expect from fried catfish with the cornmeal coating, and comes with their fries as well as their red bean and rice mixture. The restaurant uses a lot of Louisiana spices and recipes, and service is good.
